Mission

Coast and Country Community Services Ltd. (CCCS) is made up of persons who support people in the Community to participate in life:

  • developing and implementing sustainable business solutions;
  • reducing disadvantage in the community;
  • operating as a cohesive collective; and
  • supporting wider engagement of other community services.

Objectives

The primary objectives of Coast and Country Community Services Ltd. are to:

  • provide safe, reliable community services to the disadvantaged, the frail, aged, people with disabilities and their carers;
  • investigate the provision of and need for community services to the disadvantaged, the frail, aged, people with disabilities and their carers;
  • establish services to meet the needs of the frail, aged, people with disabilities and their carers, and the transport disadvantaged;
  • provide information and assistance to and liaise with other community organisations interested in community services;
  • provide input into government policy on public transport in general and community transport in particular;
  • carry on, conduct and manage the services provided by the Company in accordance with its Constitution and the policies and procedures of the Company;
  • pursue activities to ensure the sustainability of the Company;
  • work proactively and collaboratively with service users and other service providers in the best interests of the service user;
  • maintain modern contemporary business processes and risk management practices to ensure efficient and effective management of the Company; and
  • provide just and appropriate working conditions for Paid and Volunteer Team Members, which embrace an environment of Paid and Volunteer Team Member development and training, supervision and support.
